A brief description of the IPM plan(s) :

PCC’s Integrated Pest Management is a process for achieving long- term, environmentally sound pest suppression through a wide variety of tactics. Control strategies in an IPM program include structural and procedural improvements to reduce the food, water, shelter, and access used by pests. Since IPM focuses on remediation of the fundamental reasons why pests are here, pesticides are only used when necessary.

PCC recently established an IPM plan, within the state of Oregon's IPM requirements for community colleges. PCC limits the use of Round Up as set forth by third party standards. PCC does not spray fungicides or pesticides, only ground injection is used to combat pests.
