A brief description of the programs sponsored by the institution to support underrepresented groups:

The University has many student-related centers that promote diversity, including the Carl A. Fields Center for Equality & Cultural Understanding, the Davis International Center, the Ombuds Office, the Office for Religious Life, the Center for Jewish Life, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Center (LGBT), and the Women’s Center. Many additional resources for students are available through the Office of Undergraduate Students and the Graduate School Office of Diversity. Each of these centers are available to the entire campus community and also encourage faculty participation.

The University strives to create a supportive community for all of its employees. It administers eight employee resource groups. These groups provide faculty and staff members with opportunities to meet people across campus in academic, cultural and social settings, and to connect in the spirit of community in comfortable situations. The organizations also create networks for collaboration and support. There are also numerous HR training programs, including “Excelling at Princeton,” which provide resources for under-represented staff members.

The Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity administers the university's Antidiscrimination and Harassment policy, which prohibits discrimination, harassment and retaliation. The office provides training for faculty and staff members, and conducts investigations. The office oversees compliance with ADA, Title IX and Affirmative Action (OFCCP).
