Stockton’s Marine Science (MARS) program encompasses two general areas of study: Marine Biology and Oceanography. MARS majors obtain either a Bachelor of Arts (BA – 64 credits of science courses) or Bachelor of Science (BS – 80 credits of science courses) degree in Marine Science in one of these specialty areas.

Energy Studies is an interdisciplinary program. It is designed to educate students in the multifaceted problems associated with energy use in our society and to pose methods for possible solutions to problems. This certificate is appropriate for students in any major who wish to develop an expertise in energy production, management and planning.

Environmental Studies minor

A minor consists of 24 credits with at least two courses at the upper level (3000 or above). Each student selects a coherent sequence of courses appropriate to his or her academic interests. The courses will be selected in consultation with an ENVL faculty member and must be approved in advance by the ENVL program.
