A brief description of the composting or mulching program:
Richland College Facilities Grounds Department collects grass clippings, leaves, and plant material from groundskeeping, along with organic waste from the cafeteria to create compost, which is applied to campus planting beds. Branches are also collected and chipped on-site to provide mulch.
