A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
Rio Salado College began to include sustainability information as part of new student orientation in the spring of 2010. This online orientation provides an overview of the college’s goals, including the Rio Salado commitment to sustainability. In addition, Rio Salado’s many features that increase the college’s ability to “be green” are outlined on the Web page. Students learn about Rio’s efforts to increase sustainability and have access to additional resources to increase knowledge of sustainability.
