A brief description of the garden:

The Royal Bay Garden Community (RBGC) is located on Royal Roads University property. The garden has now been in operation since 2000.

Royal Bay Gardening Community Vision Statement
The Royal Bay Gardening Community is a place where Royal Roads University students and staff can:
· grow organic produce, herbs and flowers
· expand their knowledge of environmentally respectful gardening
· enhance the beauty and community feeling of Royal Roads University
· contribute to the health and inclusivity of the CRD by growing food for local food banks and charitable organizations

The garden is for current staff and students and some of the students have become alumni and still retain their garden plot. The garden has 10 garden plots. Each allotment is approximately 10x20 feet including path ways between. This year the group has plantedsome more produce to be donated to the food bank.
