By making Royal Roads a demonstration campus for education and research, environmental sustainability is infused into every program.

Social sustainability is recognized by the university. Growth will only be allowed if it meets the needs of the labour market and the government of B.C.; it must strengthen the experience and quality of learning while not exceeding the abilities of the university.
