Royal Roads University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Camosun College, North Island College, the University of Victoria, and Vancouver Island University to initiate cooperation between the schools regrading related to the post-secondary education and training needs of the region with a focus on encouraging opportunities for sharing best practices in community engagement and sustainability.

Royal Roads University is also one of the campus partners of goBEYOND Campus Climate network that encourages students, faculty, staff and community members to assist in the transition of schools to a climate neutral state allowing them to be accountable for their impact on social and ecological issues.

Royal Roads University is a member of Sustainable Campuses BC, which is a part of a national initiative that promotes, educates, and supports Canadian students working towards social equity, ecological integrity and economic prosperity on their campuses through changes in operations, enhancement of curriculum and rally community support.
