A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:
This institution has a short-term Ecuador program in which selected students participate in a summer long program in which they promote sustainability accross the country. This institution also offers students a chance to visit Holden Village Eco-Village for a week-long program. This retreat involves taking the Amtrak from campus to Washington. The retreat focuses on living sustainability without modern technology, living simply and appreciating nature. Visitors to the village are also asked to volunteer while there. The social, economic and environmental aspects of sustainability are addressed at Holden Village.
