A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:

The methodology for the University climate survey was based on the recommendation from a third party professional organizational and effectiveness consultant.

For the 2018 survey: The methodology for the University Feedback Survey was based on the recommendation from a third party professional organizational and effectiveness consultant and actions include initiatives from SLU's Cura Program.


A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):

The results of the Climate Survey was shared with the University in several campus open forums which were facilitated by the third-party consulting agency. Following the open forums, the climate assessment taskforce facilitated focus groups to dig deeper into the areas for improvement. Each Vice President is working with the task force to develop action plans to address concerns or opportunities in their division.

For the 2018 survey: The results of the University Feedback Survey will be made available in April 2018. A similar communication plan will be followed compared to what was done in 2016. The Google site stores 2014 and 2016 results.
