The guideline that the College used in purchasing was to seek the equipment which would be affordable and to the highest sustainability standards for electronic products as possible given the budget.


A brief description of steps the institution has taken to ensure that the purchasing policy, directives, or guidelines are followed:

The step that the College took to ensure that the guideline was followed was to have one IT senior staff member directing the purchases for the majority of the equipment. However, a formal policy will be adopted to guide the staff when transitions in staff do occur.
