A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
Transportation Solutions annual survey administered at the end of fall semester. This was TS’s thirteenth online survey and it was administered by SurveyMonkey. The survey was carried out from November 2nd through 14th The survey’s link was sent to 36,165 students (Regular enrollment, Open University, Special Sessions, etc.); 4,846 participated at a response rate of 13.4%. The survey instrument was the same as previous years and as before, the results proved TS effectiveness in reducing reliance on
single occupant vehicles and meeting the modal shift targets.
