Yes. There are 6 student members of the university's Academic Senate. They are all Associated Student members, elected to their positions by their peers.

There are student representatives on the university's strategic planning board which also advises on the organizational mission, vision, and goals. The strategic plannings board is advisory to the president who sets the mission, vision, and strategic plan. There are student members on the Academic Senate which sets policies. There are student members on the campus planning board and the budget advisory committee. These committees advise the president on the facilities and budget.

We do not have a dedicated governing body for staff. There are administrator representatives on the Academic Senate.
