The Wellness Center is a wellness promotion and education resource center available to all Santa Clara University students. Its main focus is on risk reduction and early intervention related to alcohol and drug use and the prevention of gender based violence. We strive to promote student wellbeing through education, prevention, and outreach services. The Wellness Center is home to these student groups:
· The Peer Health Educators (PHE) is to provide an effective peer network to encourage, support, and advance healthful living for all SCU students. PHE’s aim to raise education and awareness around a variety of health-related topics including general wellness, eating disorders, body image, nutrition, stress management, alcohol and substance abuse, and healthy relationships.

· The Violence Prevention Program (VPP) is a peer-based organization aimed at raising awareness about dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence, and providing tools for violence prevention and intervention at SCU.

· Collegiate Recovery (Broncos in Recovery)
The mission of the collegiate recovery is to provide support to students who are recovering from alcoholism and addiction as it pertains to living clean and sober at Santa Clara University. The group's traditions are rooted in Ignatian spirituality and are inspired by the mission of Santa Clara University.

Human Resources Organizational Learning and Development offers a variety of personal and professional consulting services including Financial Planning and Retirement Planning, Fidelity Investments One on One Counseling, and TIAA-CREF One on One Consultations. These programs and benefits are available to all faculty and staff on campus.

Santa Clara University understands the need for quality child care for the children of our faculty and staff. Families have a wide range of needs - including infant care, preschool education, or individualized attention for special needs children, part-time care and one-time emergencies, after school supervision, and summer activities for school age children. The University's daycare, Kids On Campus provides care for children of faculty and staff.

Santa Clara University's Mission to Wellness provides programs, referrals, and education that enable employees to be effective at work and home. Mission to Wellness embraces dependent care and family services, health and wellness, and financial counseling. Other programs include Weight Watchers at Work, Nutrition Counseling, access to the Pat Malley Fitness Center, the Benefits Wellness Expo, the Go Move Challenge, and Bike to Work Month/Day.
