A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
The Scripps President's Advisory Committee on Sustainability Committee held an information booth during orientation to introduce students to the green efforts at Scripps. Starting the Fall of 2012, the co-chair of the committee, along with other personnel working on sustainability efforts at Scripps will also give a presentation on sustainability efforts in a mandatory orientation session for the incoming students.
