One of the ways that the College plans to achieve its Strategic Direction of "Building on our Strengths to Develop Innovative Programs and Services" (Strategic Direction 2) is to develop program outcomes for all programs and relevant learning outcomes for all courses.
Targets:
1. By 2017/18, all programs will have developed clear program and course outcomes.
2. Six program outcomes processes will be conducted in 2014/15. (complete)
Selkirk College is hosting a "Curriculum Development Week" for faculty in June 2016 that focuses on curriculum renewal. The new course outline template that will be introduced incorporates all of the elements of the program outcomes renewal process: outcomes, teaching strategies and assessments.
