A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:

Sheridan’s Environmental Control graduate certificate program “builds on existing knowledge to develop the specialized expertise and skills needed by employers in the environmental sector.” One of the courses in the final term of the program is called Environmental Project.

As per the course outline for the Environmental Project course:

“This project based course provides students with the opportunity to develop skills in research, project planning and management, experimental design and reporting of results. Projects are typically performed for local companies, government agencies or other organizations and focus on environmental, energy or health and safety issues.”
