A brief description of the formal training that the employee educators receive (1st program):

Sustainability Ambassadors go through a brief orientation session with Sustainability Office staff before their first meeting with all Ambassadors. Each semester, the Ambassadors take on a project facilitated by Sustainability Office programming and priorities. They receive specific training through "Lunch and Learn" sessions each month, and are asked to commit to several actions each semester, which are typically some sort of pilot project (compost bins, Green Office Certification, etc) for the university.
Ambassadors volunteer a suggested 1 hour a month during work time and receive support and resources to carry out their roles. All projects are designed to be easy enough to accomplish with minimal work and flexible enough to fit into a busy schedule.

Resources for each semesterly campaign are uploaded on the Sustainability Ambassador(SA) website and kept up to date based on the feedback received from SAs.
