Before the University enters into an agreement with a Supplier, the Supplier and any subcontractor of the Supplier is to confirm in writing that:
It will comply with the University’s Ethical Procurement Policy which include ethical labour practices that meet the minimum labour standards set out in SECTION 3: Standards; and it will acquire goods and services from a Supply Chain who agree to comply with labour practices that meet the minimum labour standards set out in SECTION 3: Standards.

The University expects all Suppliers to respect the Ethical Procurement Policy and associated guidelines and to actively pursue compliance.
The University will cooperatively work with its Suppliers to be compliant to the Policy and these guidelines.
If a Supplier is unable to achieve compliance, the University reserves the right to terminate the business relationship or contract in accordance to section 9, ‘Termination of Contract’.
