Manager, Parking Services
Given its geographical location, SFU has historically demonstrated a strong performance in this credit. SFU Burnaby is situated on top of a mountain, with two main forms of commuting options available to the community: driving a personal vehicle or using public transportation (specifically TransLink buses). Therefore, the following data was calculated based on SFU's employee (faculty and staff) headcount and parking permit sales at the Burnaby campus in 2017.
|Commute with only the driver in the vehicle (excluding motorcycles and scooters)||---|
|Walk, bicycle, or use other non-motorized means||---|
|Vanpool or carpool||---|
|Take a campus shuttle or public transportation||---|
|Use a motorcycle, scooter or moped||---|
|Telecommute for 50 percent or more of their regular work hours||---|
