Yes

A brief summary of papers, guides, presentations, and other resources the institution has developed to share their sustainability experience with other institutions:

SRU's Biology Department teams with the University of Pittsburgh to offer a field course to Slippery Rock University students who enroll in the summer program at the Pymatuning Laboratory of Ecology. In return, University of Pittsburgh students participate in site visits and presentations on sustainability topics offered at SRU's Macoskey Center for Sustainable Systems Reseacrh and Education.

SRU is also a member of the Marine Science Consortium pools the talents and resources of 16 colleges and universities in the mid-Atlantic States. Classrooms, wet and dry laboratories, computer room, a workshop, dock facilities, dormitories, apartments, a cafeteria and recreational facilities are available at or near the Wallops Island Station. Several research and training vessels are available for work along the Atlantic coast and the Chesapeake Bay. Some courses offered at the Marine Science Center may be applied to the liberal studies requirement in the natural sciences so that any Slippery Rock University student, regardless of major, may take advantage of a first-hand experience in the marine environment.

SRU students regualrly assist in cleaning up invasive plant species at the nearby Jennings Environmental Center, whose staff participates in many of SRU's public outreach programs (such as Earth Week and AASHE Sustainability Day activities).

SRU also manages the McKeever Environmental Education Center located in Sandy Lake, PA, and uses student interns from nearby colleges such as Clarion University in their environmental programs for K12 students and the general publuic.

SRU has been featured in the AASHE Bulletin a number of times for Sustainability Programs and awards, such as the LEED Silver certification for the residence halls and installing water bottle refill stations on campus.

As a member of AASHE/STARS/ACUPCC, SRU makes public a number of publications regarding sustainability including: greenhouse gas inventories, progress reports, climate action plan, best practices, etc.
