Does the institution compost or mulch waste from grounds keeping, including grass trimmings?:
A brief description of the composting or mulching program:
SOU Landscape Services composts approximately 95% of the yard waste on campus. Grass clippings are not collected but are spread on the turf and allowed to decompose naturally. The rest of the yard waste is composed of noxious weeds, which are bagged and disposed of as garbage.
