A brief description of steps taken to reduce hazardous, universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:

Products are recycled whenever possible to reduce disposal costs. When non-regulated materials no longer have a useful life, they are sent out for disposal and the disposal method is incineration.

Universal wastes (e-wastes) are sent to an approved recycling facility by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. The procedures for collection of hazardous waste materials are described at: http://www.sou.edu/ehs/waste.html
