We’ve partnered with 511NY Rideshare to offer our faculty and employees alternative travel options. 511NY Rideshare is a state Department of Transportation-sponsored program that aims to reduce the number of single-occupancy vehicles on the roads.

Through St. John’s dedicated Rideshare web portal, you can register and then view other interested SJU Rideshare commuters. This exclusive SJU Rideshare portal also lets you view calendars and times in addition to contacting SJU commuters for carpooling. Registering for the program is easy with the SJU Rideshare web portal: just log-on, create a commuter profile and calendar, and find ride matches.
511NY.org also offers real-time travel, traffic and transit information via the web, telephone, or mobile device.
