The University is an active member of APPA (http://www.appa.org/#). APPA facilities collaboration and communication between higher education facilities mangers. Additionally, APPA provides information, best practices, and case studies releated to sustainability.
St. Lawrence University is a member of the NY Coalition for Sustainability in Higher Education (NYSCSHE). NYCSHE unites representatives of higher education and supporting organizations with a common interest to promote and support environmental, fiscal, and social responsibility (http://nycshe.org/about/).
The University plans and presents at the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley Sustainability Day (https://sites.google.com/clarkson.edu/sustainabilityday/).
The University has staff and faulty serving on the board of the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley Sustainability Day (https://sites.google.com/clarkson.edu/sustainabilityday/).
The University collaborates with the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley on issues related to sustainability in the county. Additionally, the University collaborated with SUNY-Canton on expanding and improving organic waste diversion in the Village of Canton, NY.
