A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
The Stark County Education Network for Environmental Sustainability (SCENES) website was created to: 1) build a conversation around locally relevant sustainability issues, 2) provide resources to engage people from all walks of life, 3) connect people ready to envision a sustainable community, and 4) realize this vision through partnerships and collective action. This virtual communication resource provides a platform for conversation, information on local sustainability issues, resources for educational opportunities and curriculum development, links to connect people through a green directory, an event calendar, volunteer project exchange, and a forum for community sustainability. This dynamic, evolving website (www.starkscenes.org) reflects the needs of the surrounding community.
