Stark State College conducted a wage assessment for employees in March 2012 using the Living Wage Calculator for Stark County found at http://www.livingwage.geog.psu.edu/counties/39151.

Hourly Wages for a family of One Adult category are as follows:

Living Wage: $8.16 per hour
Poverty Wage: $5.04 per hour
Minimum Wage: $7.70 per hour

The lowest hourly wage for employees and non-construction contractors at Stark State College is $10.10 per hour which equates to the following:

23.8% above the Living Wage
Over 200% of the Poverty Wage
39.3% above the Minimum Wage
