A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
SUNY New Paltz owns two hybrid Nissan Altimas. One is used by Facilities Management and the other is used by the President of SUNY New Paltz. Facilities Management owns and operates nine 100% electric GEM cars and one 100% electric truck.
