Our Sustainability Coordinator presented research on sustainability education practices at the SUNY Sustainability Conference in 2014.
We are members of the New York Coalition for Sustainability in Higher Education and the SUNY Sustainability Association.
SUNY Poly, SUNY Oneonta, and Temple University collaborated on an Innovation Challenge New York Mohawk Valley in October 2015. The goal of the "Re-envisioning Oneonta..." topic was to challenge participants to explore and propose ways to tap into the potential of Oneonta’s downtown, in all its diversity, to develop innovative ideas and solutions that can help foster greater community, economic, and cultural vitality in the Mohawk Valley region.
From 2012-2015 our Sustainability Coordinator participated in SUNY Sustainability Council monthly sustainability calls, which connected SUNY Campus Sustainability Coordinators and SUNY System Central Sustainability Director and staff to discuss best-practices and implementing new projects.
