From R. S. Mowery, General Construction: "We often use the LEED checklist and guidelines provided by the US Green Building council during the design and pre-construction process to “unofficially” document criteria that satisfies the LEED/sustainability requirements. In addition, when considering various materials for interior or exterior finishes, we include sustainability along with cost and quality, in the decision making process. During procurement of materials, we focus on regionally available materials. During construction, we follow LEED/Sustainability requirements for construction waste management and indoor air quality."
