The Climate Action Plan was developed to inform its efforts to completely eliminate its net emissions of Greenhouse gases by December 31, 2040. The university has designed this to demonstrate that carbon neutrality can be achieve in a fiscally responsible manner while enhancing the the University's fulfillment of its educational mission and development of climate leaders.
