Does the institution prioritize the use of native plant species in landscaping?:
A brief description of the native plant program, policy, or practice:
Taylor prioritizes the use of native plants on it's campus grounds. A few non-native plants are actually just as good (non-spreading, require very little care, fit into the local ecosystem) or better than some of the natives. Instances where these plants are used are few and they are only used where it is decided that they would be a better option than native plants (require less water, less care, non-invasive, etc.).
