A brief description of the institution's Tree Campus USA program:
We have a Tree Advisory Committee which meets often to discuss tree recommendations for protection, maintenance, planting, and preservation. Our goals include creating awareness of trees, fostering partnerships with university and community entities, submitting recommendations and specifications for tree planting and protection into our Facilities Design Guidelines, and holding an annual Arbor Day event to promote tree awareness and create unity.
