Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
The Sustainability Game

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:

The Sustainability Game is a fun quiz game that will help increase sustainability awareness and understanding. Through the game we have noticed n increase in sustainability awareness across the community due to the active participation and the "competition" features of the game across various points on the campus. It is the first national attempt by any institution to quantify wawareness and to inform on sustainability through gamification.
The game game is genuinely informative and, admittedly, it has an effective "stickiness" aspect to it in that, as a player, you want to repeat it until you achieve full points, this is really important as it "hooks" you towards learning the information.
Besides testing the community and its perception of sustainability and themed components on social ,environmental and economic sustainability, the platform operates with a real time contextualized monitoring of energy through an energy consumption dashboard so that participants can appreciate and play an active role in reducing the ACG ecological footprint and to minimize energy wastage through an informal competition between different buildings.
