The academic offerings at The Ohio State University at Marion include:

* Up to two full years of the College of Engineering's 14 degree programs

* Associate of Arts

* Complete bachelor's degree programs in early and middle childhood education, general business management, English, history, nursing (RN to BSN program), psychology, and social work

* Master's degrees in early childhood education, middle childhood education, and integrated teaching and learning.

Depending on your major, you may complete 1–3 years of Ohio State's other 175+ degree programs at Marion before completing your degree in Columbus.

The Marion Campus Physical Facilities Department oversees seven major buildings totaling 287,200 gross sq. ft. and 187 acres of grounds at the Marion Campus. The Marion Campus senior administrative staff seek to incorporate short-term and long-term energy-efficient operations.

Marion campus grounds staff are responsible for the care of campus grounds, which includes mowing, weeding, leaf removal, turf renovation, ornamental and herbaceous planting, pruning and removals; fertilization of turf and plant material, and the … read more

Marion campus grounds staff are responsible for the care of campus grounds, which includes mowing, weeding, leaf removal, turf renovation, ornamental and herbaceous planting, pruning and removals; fertilization of turf and plant material, and the application of pesticides and herbicides.

Also, activities include daily policing of campus grounds to remove trash and debris from lawn, roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, building entryways.

Maintenance and repair of trucks, tractors, riding mowers, golf carts, snow plows, lawn mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws and hand tools are provided by this department.

During the winter, grounds staff is responsible for the removal of snow and ice from parking lots, roadways and sidewalks.

The Ohio State University at Marion is a commuter campus. Marion City provides bus service for students and staff to the campus several times during the day and evening hours, Monday through Friday. There is a reduced fare for students when they show a current campus ID.

In addition, the Marion Campus is actively involved in providing safe bicylce access to campus from the surrounding community.
