e-waste is recycled in a manner consistent with the university’s occupational health and safety standards.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for institution-generated materials:

Through Al Green and SD73, internal e-waste recycling is undertaken. Batteries go to Battery Direct, which undertakes shipment and recycling of batteries.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for student-generated materials :

Students can bring batteries, cell phones and some other electronic waste to the recycling bins at the TRUSU desk. From there they are sent to recycling facilities.
