A brief description of the policies and procedures that ensure community stakeholder engagement is applied systematically and regularly across the institution’s activities:
Project One has initiated a strategic plan for guiding criteria that must be considered by all institutional partnerships/projects. This criteria will become guiding policy by which all departments must complete in order to engage in a new partnership or project with a community partner. For ongoing community engagement partnerships, Memorandums of Understanding will be drafted to help ensure shared expectations, goals, and assessment.
A brief description of how the institution identifies and engages community stakeholders, including any vulnerable or underrepresented groups:
As an institution, we target our efforts toward our local neighborhood which is largely comprised of underrepresented citizens and identify as low socio-economic status. Thus, one of our guiding criteria pertains to resources/accessibility for our local neighborhood. We engage with community stakeholders through educational outreach efforts, volunteer efforts, and membership on local community neighborhood associations.

A brief description of successful community stakeholder engagement outcomes from the previous three years:
We have grown our primary non-profit partnership to 6 sites (with MOUs in place)
We have grown our participation with city commissioners, neighborhood associations, and the NAACP
We have hosted 20 community partners and provided sponsorship to a local conference that helped to solidify partnerships beyond those we have previously had.
