Tulane University has a campus wide purchasing policy that was enacted in 2010 in order to encourage offices and departments to purchase computers according to EnergyStar standards. Tulane University achieves this requirement through negotiated contracts with Apple and Dell who provide the vast majority of computers supplied on campus, most of which are EPEAT Gold.
