The Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer (CDIO) serves as the point of contact for the President to coordinate, develop, inform, and provide leadership for diversity, inclusion, and social justice issues institution-wide. Additionally, the CDIO collaborates with faculty, staff and students to ensure that Unity College is a safe and welcoming environment for all members of the college community to advance an appreciation and respect for cultural differences. The CDIO is responsible for development of the Unity College Diversity Website and Recognition in Diverse Issues in Higher Education.
