UB's strategy and plan for sustainability has been vetted amongst multiple campus and community stakeholders. Comments have been integrated into the plan and inform the path forward.

-Curriculum: educating individuals about the global challenges we face
-Research: finding solutions to these challenges through cutting edge research
-Operations: setting the bar high for sustainability in our own operations
-Engagement: sharing our experiences and providing leadership through engagement within the external community

The Sustainability Strategy is closely tied to our climate action plan, whose measurable goals are directly related to sustainability--the environment, economy, and equity.
