Buildings and Estates
Secure bike storage, lockers and showers are provided in the Western Gateway Building and accessible to all staff. Further showers and lockers are provided in the Kane Building, closer to the centre of main campus.
All occupied buildings are within easy access of bike racks. Long term storage NA.

It set out standards for cycling and storing bikes on campus, and gives priority to pedestrians.
UCC Campus bikes scheme - a fleet of 24 bikes are available across 8 locations. Staff can avail of these bikes for short trips either between campus sites or around the city.
All UCC Travel Pass Scheme is a facility whereby employees can purchase annual bus or rail tickets through UCC. The employee will not pay tax, PRSI, USC or pension related deduction on the remuneration sacrificed.
The student leap card is available from the Student Union. This is another national scheme that provides discounts form public transport.

A staff member that travels using more sustainable modes can avail of a free taxi home in case of emergency.
UCC operates a carpooling scheme whereby spaces are designated for carpoolers up until 10am - https://www.ucc.ie/en/build/commuting/carpooling/
UCC has a corporate account with GoCar. One car is based on College View / College Road, opposite the Library. UCC staff members can register with this account to use the cars (4 more locations existing in Cork) for work purposes.
2 chargers at the Environmental Research Institute and 3 chargers on Main campus. Parking for EV's is reserved around these charging stations.
