A brief description of the campaign(s):

SpringFest Service is an annual event that is held in conjunction with SpringFest, a student 3 day celebration of the snow melting in Fairbanks. SpringFest Service called on students to preform to events this year; one was cleaning up campus, and the second was building structures for the local therapeutic farm "Turning Light Farm". 75 students registered to participate in SpringFest Events (an increase of 30 from 2010). SpringFest service is a part of SOS : Student Opportunities for Service through the student activities office, which hosts many volunteer opportunities, including alternative spring break, this year students went to Moab Utah where students took on roles in invasive plant management and trail maintenance.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign(s):

SOS has reached many parts of campus but measurably this year recruited 30 more students than last year to participate in SpringFest Service including a clean up day activity, which is not the most popular way to spend a day off from classes.
