Yes

A brief description of how weather data or sensors are used:

UAlberta collects data on: wind speed, evapotranspiration, heat index, humidity (inside and outside) and rainfall. By coupling this information with a soil-based sensor, we can determine how much irrigation is actually needed versus blanket irrigating, thereby decreasing our water dependency.
