A brief description of the institution’s workplace health and safety initiatives, including how workers are engaged in monitoring and advising on health and safety programs:

The Environment, Health and Safety unit completes a variety of initiatives every year. Current high priority initiatives are to develop and implement safety training for supervisors, enhance to the incident reporting system, implement an integrated database and develop a safety committee structure across the university. Employee engagement is conducted through health and safety committees.
