The period covered by this data is actually two and a half years. Specifically this data covers all classes taught at the University of Arizona main campus from Spring 2009 to Spring 2011.

Some course listings were consolidated if the course showed up multiple times across majors or was the same type of instruction in or across a program of study. For example, all individual music study classes (MUSI) for a given course number were counted as one course instead of as one course for each instrument.
