The Sustainability Consortium is a collaboration between the University of Arkansas and Arizona State University. It is an organization of diverse global participants that work collaboratively to build a scientific foundation that drives innovation to improve consumer product sustainability. We develop transparent methodologies, tools, and strategies to drive a new generation of products and supply networks that address environmental, social, and economic imperatives.

The 2013 SEC Symposium discussed the impact of the southeast in the world’s renewable energy future. Seven Office for Sustainability staff and students attended the conference, one department sent students as representatives, and University of Arkansas professor Dr. D. Keith Roper served as a speaker for the renewable energies technology portion of presentation session.
