Student Leadership Program

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:

The Student Sustainability Leadership Program guides student sustainability leaders, such as the Associated Student Government and the Residential Interhall Congress sustainability directors. The program, funded by the Office for Sustainability, enhances the incentives and increases accountability by providing a modest stipend along with bi-weekly meetings with the director of the Office for Sustainability. This program helps to advance both student led sustainability goals as well as administrative campus goals, while enhancing the value of their academic learning.

A 4-5 page report will be required at the end of each semester. These reports outline the initial agenda, highlights accomplishments, discusses roadblocks to implementation and offers suggestions on how to overcome those impediments.
