The University of Calgary's Child Development Center has a 65,000 kWh building based photovoltaic array.
The U of C is currently completing its co-generation facility (July 2011) reducing reliance on the coal-fired provincial power grid. This change will allow a significant reduction in annual GHG emissions commencing August 2010. This will be reflected in the next reporting period.
Total energy consumed covers all sites under the U of C's operation control for fiscal year 2009-2010.
