Does the institution have a program to reduce residence hall move-in waste?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

Student Housing operates the Resource Recovery Drive, which takes place in several locations near the residence halls during move-in weekend, so items such as cardboard and polystyrene (“styrofoam”) can be recycled. In 2012, the two day drive achieved a 80% recycling rate (by volume) and collected approximately 12,815 pounds of cardboard and 264 pounds of polystyrene.
