For the 3rd entry (non-motorized), 9.5% commute by bike, 20.9% commute on foot, 2.8% telecommute or work from outside the state, 8.1% don’t come to campus due to sick/vacation days, furloughs, or compressed work schedules.

These numbers are taken from the annual South Coast Air Quality Management District commute survey (based on all employee responses) and represent the mode split on an average day at UC Irvine.
